As the IBPS Po Prelims exam are over now candidates are waiting for the Prelims Result and result will going to released soon. This year pattern of the IBPS Po was not constant in each exam so this means IBPS needs candidates who can survive in the different different manner. IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern & Specifics
The Mains paper is tougher than the Prelims exam. In the duration of 3 hours, you have to attempt 155 Qs worth of 200 marks. Here is the section-wise structure of the paper.

1.     BILINGUAL TEST: Each section in the paper will be available in hindi as well (Except English section).
2.     Negative Marking: 0.25 deducts on each wrong questions.
1. IBPS PO Mains Syllabus – Data Analysis & Interpretation
You have only 45 minutes to attempt the 35 Qs of the Quants section. This section consists of Data Interpretation questions as mentioned below:

(1) Data Interpretation

·       Moderate to difficult, Time Consuming, Moderate Accuracy Possible
·       Weightage: 21-25 Qs (3-4 sets)
·       Question Types: Pie Charts, Tabular Graph, Line Graphs, Bar Graphs, Mix of any two type of DI (mentioned till now), Missing DI, Case lets, Radar Graph. Also, the DI can be based on the concept of Time & Work, Boat & Stream, Profit & Loss etc. to make it tricky.
 (2) Data Sufficiency
·       Moderate in Difficulty, Moderately, Time Consuming, Tricky
·       Weightage: 8-10 Questions
·       Question Types:  the questions will be based on Ratio & Proportion, Comparison of quantities, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Time Speed & Distance, Problems on Age, Mixtures & Allegations, Mensuration, etc.

2. IBPS PO Mains Syllabus – Reasoning & Computer Aptitude

The Reasoning section is always to score better. You have 60 min. to attempt this section, do not get stuck on any problem. Just move on to next question if you cannot figure out a problem. The various topics Reasoning Ability section are as below:

(1) Syllogisms

·       Moderate to difficult, Less time consuming,
·       Weightage: 5-7 Qs
·       Question Types: Possibility based, Reverse Syllogism, negative information based.

(2) Coding & Decoding

·       Moderate in Difficulty, High Accuracy possible, Moderate Time Consuming,
·       Weightage: 4-6 Qs
·       Question Types: Clock based Coding Decoding New Type Coding Decoding, Coding in Fictitious Language

(3) Coded Inequalities

·       Weightage: 2 Qs
·       Scoring, Easy if Steps Followed properly, Moderately time consuming, High Accuracy possible.
·       Question Types: Coded relations between letters to be decoded and solved.

(4) Scheduling

·          Weightage: 5 Qs
·     Moderate to Difficult, could be tricky, Moderate to Highly Time Consuming, Moderate    Accuracy possible, Requires clean charting with proper technique and step-by-step solving. 

Question Types: 5 months 2 dates & one more variab
